Chapter 17 Chapter 17: Susie's Star Dress
Mara hugged the crying Lucy and shed tears herself.
She felt sad because David did not change after they had been married for five or six years.
At this time, Lulu's grandmother, Chloe, called on the video phone and saw two people crying. Then, she quickly asked, "What's wrong with you?"
Mara burst into tears and told her mother what had happened.
She was furious over there, "See, I told you so. When there was only one girl in the Murray family, Lucy was always treated like a princess no matter what. Now that the girl is here, they won't spoil Lucy anymore."
As Lucy listened to this, she thought her uncles and grandparents did not come to coax her when she was beaten. Then, she cried again.
Mara said with an annoyed voice, "Mom, stop it."
Chloe glared at her, "How come I can't say anything? That's the way it is. How could Lulu not match for that girl who is not from the Murray family."
Mara said, "Susie will be one of this family."
Chloe shook her head repeatedly, "It's over. Lucy won't be a princess in this family. Do you know that she is a difficult girl?"
"When she was in San Diego, she pushed her stepmother down the stairs, and her stepmother had a miscarriage. Her uncles, who are covering her up, are also protecting her. It's obvious that Susie made a mistake, but they let the Bishop family go bankrupt."
Chloe cracked up, and Mara frowned, "Didn't her stepmother set Susie up?"
Chloe said, "Wait. I'll send you a video."
Mara received a video featuring a voice-altered exposé who claimed to be a good friend of Stacy's. It showed a notice that Stacy was hospitalized and critically ill.
There was also a short video of the black-clad bodyguards throwing the elder Mr. and Mrs. Bishop and Andrew out of the villa. And another video showed that Michael held Andrew down and slammed him hard against the wall.
Of course, the exposé pixelated the faces of the Murray family in these videos, except Susie.

Chloe continued, "See? What kind of stepmother would kill her baby just because she hates Susie? Would she joke with her own life? At a young age, she has a very evil heart."
"What does it mean when she beats up Lucy, but none of the Murray family coaxes Lucy? It means that the little girl has deceived Craig and Alana. Who knows how she darkens Lucy?"
Mara watched the video and felt sick. How could they pick such a child up?
"Looks like we'll have to watch out for her more in the future," Mara said.
The conversation between mother and daughter was not mysterious, so Lulu listened to everything.
'Susie killed her stepmother's brother.' 'Susie is very scheming.' 'Susie is a bad girl.' Lucy firmly remembered all these words.

Stacy was clever not to go to the extensive media to break the news but to spread it as gossip.
The news that Susie caused her stepmother to miscarry and almost die in one week was known.
Murray's family would not care about this boring gossip group, so they did not even find it first.
It was until Susie's birthday.
They sent invitations to their friends and business partners to let everyone know that Susie was the Murray family's youngest Miss.
On this day, Susie's closet was full of beautiful dresses, including Lolita, puffy, and cake dresses. From red, yellow, and pink to soft green, the dresses looked like a rainbow of colors.
"Susie, pick one." Alana kindly stroked Susie's head.
Looking at her eyes shining brightly, she felt pleasant and satisfied.
Susie raised her eyes and asked, "Can I choose anyone?"
Alana nodded, "It's all Susie's."
Susie hesitated momentarily, approached Alana, and kissed Alana, "Thank you, Grandma."
Finally, Susie chose a pink and purple Lolita-style dress and wore two pink bow hairpins on her head.
Stunned, Alana murmured, "Susie is so pretty."
Susie smiled crookedly, raised her hand, nudged Alana's nose with her tiny finger, and quipped, "Grandma is cute too."
Alana couldn't help but laugh.
Susie's lips curved slightly.
Mom said she should take care of Grandma and make her happy. She had worked hard on it.

Outside the positive manor, there were two sneaky figures, none other than Stacy and Andrew.
Today, the Murray family estate was semi-open to the public. The estate was lively, with the music slowly playing, the giant lawn shining lights, and people talking and smiling.
Stacy watched the buzz inside with jealousy under her eyes.
No one knew how miserable she was during this time. Because her face was ruined, Andrew was disgusted with her and occasionally beat her.
The Bishop family treated her like a servant.
She was so miserable, but why was Susie so happy? Andrew stretched his neck and frowned, "How do we get in without an invitation?"
Stacy hid the jealousy in her eyes and said warmly, "Andrew, we as Susie's parents. Why can't we go to Susie's birthday? As long as you identify yourself to the doorman, you can get in, but..."
Looking at the shabby clothes she was wearing, she felt not good. She used to be a famous noblewoman, but what was she wearing now?
Andrew said sharply, "But what?"
Stacy said, "Let's go buy a tuxedo first. As the Murray family's in-laws, we can't be too shabby."
Andrew was annoyed, "Do you have money to buy clothes now?"
Stacy blinked innocently, "I know a place where we can sell blood."

In the estate.
Susie, wearing a beautiful dress but holding a slightly worn bunny in her arms, was led downstairs by Martin.
She was followed by Ryan, Jonathan, and Paul. But no one saw that Mitch leaned on the staircase railing and looked at Susie with hooked lips, "Well. It's in time."
At this point, the lights focused on Susie. Mitch raised an eyebrow and snapped his fingers.
The glow of the lights seemed to be dyed with a layer of fairy, and Susie's pink and purple dress was lit up with stars, like a starry sky, gorgeous. In addition, she seemed covered with holy light, appearing to be a dead elf.
The faces of the crowd were in awe. What a beautiful dress. What an exquisite girl.
One by one, they all secretly gawked at Susie. This was the Murray family's little girl.
Martin, the cold-faced president, was willing to lower his head to hold her.
But how could she hold a small broken rabbit on such an occasion? It said that the rabbit was left to her by her mother.
However, they thought Susie was so good at pretending.
Because of Stacy's video, people first thought that Susie was naturally 'arrogant' and 'scheming,' and they feared their children would suffer when they were with her. So, they asked their children not to play with Susie.
Of course, some were pushing their children to accompany Susie.
Lucy stood on the second floor, looking at the star-studded Susie.
She pointed to Susie's dress and turned her head, "Mom, I want that dress too."
